FISHER PRICE MICKEY MOUSE BAND. Circa 1934, this is the first Disney toy Fisher Price produced. Mickey and Pluto are mounted upon a wheeled wooden base with a stick push rod. When pushed along the floor, Mickey strikes the drum and cymbal (on Pluto’s tail) in an alternating manner. Marked on the side of the drum "MICKEY MOUSE BAND" & "FISHER PRICE TOYS # 530." The base is of painted blue wood with yellow wheels, and the figures have brightly colored paper litho applied to their wood frames. Toy came directly from the original owner in a rural house in Pennsylvania and has never been cleaned or altered in any manner. SIZE: 12" l. When a coin is placed in Professor Pug Frog's mouth and the lever activated, the bicycle spins in a counterclockwise circle depositing the coin, spinning to hit the book that mother goose is reading, and then returning to its initial position.
