LEHMANN AUTOBUS IN O.B. A wonderful two-level lithographed wind-up bus in red and gold with rear spiral staircase and driver at the wheel. Box is very good with entire paper litho label. SIZE: 8" l. x 5" h. CONDITION: Minor litho loss to wheel edges and gold highlights, otherwise very good to near excellent overall. Box has one split corner, and minor roughness to one bottom edge. 1-650 (1,500-2,000)

DIORAMA OF 8 STEAM DRIVEN TOYS. An assortment of animated steam driven toys depicting accurate factory/machine shop equipment from Wilesco. Mounted on wooden platform. Perhaps an instructional display for school. Lot includes boiler attached to piston engine, which turns line shafts, saw, grinder, cutter, and drill press. SIZE: 24" l. x 18" w. x 13 3/4" h. STEAM DRIVEN ELECTRICAL DIORAMA. English. Mounted on wooden platform, it consists of a Stuart boiler attached to a piston engine, which drives a Stuart Dynamo. This dynamo is attached to wires on miniature telephone poles leading to a light. Perhaps an instructional display for school. SIZE: 20" l. x 14" w. CONDITION: Averaging good to very good. STEAM DRIVEN DIORAMA & VACUUM PUMP. Mounted on wooden platform, it consists of a water tower leading to a boiler attached to a double-piston engine. Perhaps an instructional display for school. Comes with a vacuum pump on footed platform. Tall hand pump leading to machined metal disc on which a dome (not included) would be placed. By sealing the dome, one could see the effect of a vacuum on small objects. SIZE: Diorama: 22" l. x 16" w. x 15" h., Pump: 21" l. x 14" w. x 26 1/2" h. ENAMELED TIN MINIATURE STOVE. White stove with nickel stovetop and front bar includes four different nickel pots, which fit into their individual holes. Front doors open to reveal slide-out heat packs to make this a working model. SIZE: 13 1/2" w. x 18" h. overall x 12" d. CONDITION: Repainted, shows signs of wear as paint has bubbled, otherwise very good. 1-668 (250-450)

SMALL MARKLIN BUTTER CHURN. Interesting mini churn consists of a combination hand crank and steam driven apparatus on a series of gears, all on tall green post. Interacting beaters mix the cream in a clear glass and covered receptacle. This is all on an oblong wooden base marked with the Marklin shield logo and "Made in Germany" on the bottom. SIZE: 7 1/4" h. CONDITION: Post's paint shows some alligatoring, but overall very nice. 1-667 (300-500)

Reynolds Tobacco Co, by American Artworks, Coshocton, Ohio. SIZE: 22" w. x 28" h. overall. REVERSE ON GLASS APPLE GROWERS SIGN. Housed in a wooden frame, this reverse painted sign with black features a vignette of a farm scene with golden apples in the front. For Hill Brand Fancy Vinehill Gravenstein Apples. These are the "earliest apples grown in Sonoma County". SIZE: 19 3/4" w. x 16" h. CONDITION: Some paint loss to field with some touch up, generally very good. 1-657 (300-400)

SECOND LIBERTY LOAN PAPER POSTER. World War I, Second Liberty Loan of 1917 poster with image of the Liberty Bell against a blue background asking us to "Ring it again" and to "Help your Country and Yourself" by investing in government bonds. Marked at bottom "Ketterlinus, Philada, No. 3". Mounted to heavy card stock. SIZE: 20" w. x 30 1/4" h. CONDITION: Some horizontal roll creases with minor tears and edge wear. 1-655 (100-150)

ARROW COLLAR DISPLAY CASE. Tall glass and wood case with nickel trim. Rear door affixed with hangers for a variety of Arrow paper collars. SIZE: 20 3/4" w. x 31 1/2" h. x 8 1/4" d. CONDITION: Replaced hardware and glass with some missing hooks, otherwise generally good. 1-659 (500-800)
818A. RUPPERT KNICKERBOCKER BEER AUTOMATED DISPLAY. This fanciful display, ca. 1930's, features an acrobatic papier mache clown propped on his finger while balancing a number of beer bottles, cans and mugs. If that weren't enough, he spins on a large six pack atop a tripod base, never spilling a drop. This large display comes with its original crate with directions for assembly. SIZE: Approx. 9' tall overall. CONDITION: Complete and all original condition with paint loss to feet and head, plastic beer mug has splits, otherwise generally good and working. PEEK SHOW MUTOSCOPE. One-cent mechanism on all-steel cabinet, repainted red. Removed from a closed amusement park in NY State nearly a decade ago. Has factory brass label. Lighted marquee with ladies is marked "Peek Show". SIZE: 76" h. overall. CONDITION: Works fine, reel is good with a few torn pictures, as is normal for the age, magnifying lens excellent. 1-661 (400-600)

FRED KRUG BEER PORCELAIN SIGN. Heavy porcelain sign depicting a portly southern farmer on a white background. He wears a wide brimmed hat and has a large bottle of beer nestled in his left arm. His image sits atop sprigs of wheat and barley. Below him appear the words "A Critic". SIZE: 16" w. x 20" h. CONDITION: Small edge chips with a line of open bubbles in the lower left of the field. The image itself is still rather strong. 1-653 (400-700)
