PHENOMENAL ALL ORIGINAL 15" BRU JNE 4. One of Sarah’s favorite dolls! This Bru Jne #4 on a Chevrot body was purchased from the upstate New York area and included with her is a Bru Jne #6 box that she came in her light blue bulbous eyes accent her flawless bisque! As typical with most sought after Bru Jne’s, she has a tongue!! Under her dress, she still has her paper label affixed to the kid body. She is marked "Bru Jne #4" on rear of head and on shoulder plate. She has her original blonde mohair wig (never removed), original aqua Bru earrings and a spectacular silk print dress with lace trim (small amount of deterioration to rear of dress). Her shoes are marked Bru Jne #4 on the soles and is with original stockings. Spectacular wool & aqua silk-lined hat accompanies this Bru (heavy deterioration to silk lining). CONDITION: Doll is in near mint, un-played-with condition. The wig has not been removed, but head has been inspected. On the rear of head, is a small red firing line (NOT HAIRLINE). Doll also has 1" red firing line (following seam line below left ear). Short red line along seam line under right ear. No apparent damage to shoulder plate or hands. SPECTACULAR 12-1/2" ALL ORIGINAL BRU FASHION. Another highlight from Sarah’s collection!! This is an all original Bru Fashion that comes with history. Originally bought at Paris Exposition from socialite family. The estate that contained this doll was left to a neighbor in the Hamptons who was going to sell it in a consignment shop. He then decided to sell it to Sarah. The doll comes on a fully articulated Bru wooden body; swiveling at waist; jointed elbows, hands, feet, etc. She has a drop-dead gorgeous face with pale bisque! She has the typical tri-colored Bru eyes, long feathered eyebrows and that much sought after smile that is synonymous with Bru Fashion’s. She’s wearing the most elaborate wedding dress possible, blond mohair wig with bangs on the front and hair streaming down her back. She’s wearing a snake bracelet on one arm while holding an ivory fan in the other hand. She is wearing white boots with silk bows on the toes. CONDITION: Wig has never been removed and after careful inspection, there is no apparent damage to the bisque. JL 1-2295 (6,000-8,000)

This doll has fine pale bisque, bulbous blue paperweight eyes and hands with no damage to fingers. The Chevrot body still has the original paper label on chest! Doll is further highlighted by the fact that it has Marked Bru Jne 7 shoes and an amazing antique black velvet and gold satin striped Bebe dress. CONDITION: Minor wear to leather/ball joints at shoulder, paint foxing to wooden legs, & some minimal wear to dress. Doll is identical in appearance to the normal Hertel and Schwab #141 character. Doll has accented open mouth with four teeth and finely painted eyebrows. She is on a fully-jointed composition body wearing an antique white cotton dress, original sandy blonde mohair wig, and antique shoes and socks. Her head and shoulder plate, which are unmarked, feature pale bisque with cobalt blue eyes. Lower arms are bisque, and the body which is completely covered by twill is jointed at shoulder, elbow, hip, knee, and ankle. An older fancy replacement dress covers the original cotton undergarments and brown leather shoes. (Doll lacking shoes). CONDITION: Overall condition is excellent. Some minor peppering to head.
