1249 GREAT TIN LITHO FRONT FOR THE DIAMOND DYES FAIRY CABINET. We do not have the cabinet but we have what is important, the tin and it is an outstanding one. When the recent owner acquired this a short while ago it was filthy and black and they made a quick weak attempt at cleaning it and it came out wonderful. It will probably clean up even better with a little professional attention, but this is an outstanding example of the fairy dye tin. This particular one is usually found in very poor condition and it's so hard to find in this kind of condition. Nice colors. By Wells & Hope and Company, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. SIZE: 24" by 18". CONDITION: large nail hole down at the bottom (much of which would be covered by the molding in the door.) A small nail hole at the top right on the edge of the molding again, maybe partially or fully covered by the molding and a small chip of paint lies just below that nail.
